FARMHOUSE WALK
TIME 45 mins-1 hour
PATHS Forest
COMMENTS nice views, a few rises, can be muddy

Go out the front door of Key House, turn right and follow the road through the village into Falkland Estate. (Don't go up the road that says Craigmead Car park).

Go past the duck pond (on your left) and the school/mansion.

Just beyond the school there is a T junction. Turn left, and follow the road up the hill until you come to farm buildings on your right.

The sealed road finishes here and there are paths leading off in various directions. Take the most obvious path - it turns sharp left and goes back down the hill. Follow this until it comes out on a sealed road.

You can turn left here and walk all the way back to the village on the road or you can turn left, walk 50-100m, and look for a path on the opposite side of the road leading up into some pine trees.

This path flattens out and gives you a nice view of the village. You will join up with the path that goes up the Lomond. Turn left (downwards) and you will end up back in the village, via Fettykill Papermill.
