PATHS Mostly flat, variable terrain

Go out the front door of Key House and turn right.

Follow the road through the village and into Falkland Estate (don't go towards Craigmead car park).

Go past the duck pond on your left and the school/mansion. Turn right at the T-junction.

The road bends 90 degrees right and then 90 degrees left. When you get to the haybarn, turn left onto the unsealed road. Follow this between the fields, and then down into some pine trees.

As you come out of the pine trees you can either a) turn left (short route home) or b) turn right (longer route home).

a) Turning left will take you up an incline. Look out for a place where you can turn left again between two hedgerows. This path will bring you out near the school.

b) Turning right will take you past the sawmill (on your right) and onto a road. If you turn right here you will come to the Pillars of Hercules (organic food shop) and then a junction. Turn right and follow the road back to the village OR you can take a short cut across the playing fields.
